Hello! I'm Mrs Dytham - teacher of the Stags. My teaching assistants are Mrs Fernihough (who teaches the class on a Thursday) and Mrs Harris.
We are very lucky to be based in the Thelma Smith building.
Year 6 is an exciting time for our pupils! As the eldest in the school, Year 6 children are very much role models to our younger pupils and will usually enjoy many additional responsibilities during the year.
In May, they will get the chance to show off how brilliant they are in the National Curriculum tests and of course spend time getting ready to move on to secondary school, where they will no doubt continue to be super Lintonians!
It is our strong belief that reading is the key to everything. Regular and wide reading has far reaching benefits across the curriculum...and it's also so much fun! Keep an eye out for reading challenges and competitions. Please also support your children with homework, spelling, times tables and online learning games.
Please have a read of the class fact sheet for further information.
If there are any questions or concerns, please email me at mdytham@linton.derbyshire.sch.uk
