for our school
Who are the Friends of Linton Primary School?
We are parents of children at the school, and teachers, who donate their time to raise money for the school.
What do Friends do?
We raise money whilst organising and hosting fun events such as:
How much money do Friends raise?
Did you know that in the academic year 2016-2017 Friends raised over £5,000!
So where does all this money go?
· Lunchtime Play Equipment • Starbooks Café books
· Early Years play Equipment • Bike and scooter docks
· Termly WHSmith vouchers for each classes Head Teacher Award
· Subsidise School Trips £3 per child per year
· Painting of outside areas (fences, benches, train)
One way we can all help is to use Easyfundraising when we do our shopping online. In your browser type the following or click the link:
www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/lintonprimary
Follow the links and shop as usual. Each purchase you make will generate a cash back donation to Friends of Linton Primary School, instantly raising money for us.
A big thank you to parents for supporting our events, as without you, Friends could not raise money for the school
We need more parents to join us. Everyone is welcome and you can do as little or as much as your time and commitments will allow: pop in and join us at the next meeting - look out for the date in the school newsletter, or just look out for one of us in the playground!
We hope to see you soon
